We are based at the Glendowie Boating Club, 37 Glendowie Road, Glendowie 1071, off Riddell Road, Glendowie. We cater for competitive and social runners and walkers who wish to belong to a club which is affiliated to Athletics New Zealand. Most of our members are over 50 years old.
In the Winter season (March-November) we normally meet at the Glendowie Boating Club at 2pm for a walk/run around the Eastern suburbs, followed by afternoon tea. In the Summer season (December - March) we meet at 7.15am for a 7.30am start.
We also hold club handicap events, social events and club outings. If you are thinking of becoming a member then you are welcome to come along to the club and meet us, but please check our Calendar first to check whether we will be on an outing that day.
